National S’mores Day is today. And the town of Morrisville has the ultimate plans to celebrate it. The Town Council approved to temporarily change its name to “S’Morrisville” on Friday. Even though it’s a day late, the town did it with intentions of attracting a large crowd at the Community Park for food trucks, a movie, and of course, s’mores. The event is free for all to attend, and shenanigans will begin at 6:30 pm. You know you’re getting old when your idea of Friday night fun involves eating s’mores until you can’t move.
