When Krispy Kreme decides something is important, you know it’s worth taking a look at. Ahead of the Aug. 21 total solar eclipse, the doughnut chain announced that it would be giving its signature glazed goodies a chocolate twist. Based out of Winston-Salem, the company said that the eclipse is “a rare occasion providing a total sensory experience for viewers across the continental U.S” and said that their treats should do the same. You can find the chocolate glazed doughnuts in participating stores on Aug. 21, as well as a limited amount of hours on both Aug. 19 and Aug. 20. Genius. Give that marketing department a raise, y’all.
