In light of a so far successful football season, NC State announced that it is currently in talks with head football coach Dave Doeren’s agent in order to secure a contract extension. Athletic Director Debbie Yow said, “We want Dave here a long time and appreciate the progress that has been made." Currently, his contract is set to expire in 2019 but it looks like that will be changing shortly. While we have to give credit to Doeren for where he’s taken the program, we also have to say LOOK WHAT HAPPENED WHEN YOU EXTENDED GOTTFRIED’S CONTRACT. Here’s to hoping some NC State stuff doesn’t occur.
