President Trump spent yesterday doing what he does best, patting himself on the back while protests in Palestine turned deadly. The “great day” referred to the U.S. Embassy opening its doors in Jerusalem which ruins America’s chances of becoming a neutral peace broker in the Middle East. The decision to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem means that the US. recognizes it as Jerusalem’s capital. However, this change caused massive protests at the Gaza border where Israeli armed forces have killed several dozen people. Despite the mess going on, Trump swears that our country still wants to find peace in the Middle East while the Organization of Islamic Cooperation sees it as an illegal attack on Palestinians.
