Usually, if you see a spider, it’s time to grab your nearest shoe and take a swat. At Bull City Burger and Brews, the only way to get rid of it is to take a big gulp. Yes, that’s right — to celebrate its sixth annual Exotic Meat Month, the restaurant is offering tarantula burgers: a $30 meal complete with North Carolina-raised beef, cheese, chili sauce and an oven roasted tarantula. Apparently, there are only 18 tarantula burgers to be had, so if you’re interested in trying it, you have to win a raffle in order to have a chance. Whatever happened to Fear Factor, where they pay us to eat spiders? Let’s bring that back.
