Any event that ends in the word -fest is guaranteed to be a good time, and this weekend, we’ll all have the privilege of checking out Durham’s first ever Sausagefest, which might just be the best kind of -fest there is. Head over to the Durham event space Rickhouse on Sunday, where local butchers and restaurants will have their meats available for purchase. Proceeds from tickets to the event will help benefit LIFE Skills Foundation, an organization that helps young adults who have aged out of the foster system. Eating meat for a good cause? Don’t mind if we do.
