Getting scolded by the Pope is never good, which is probably why West Virginia Bishop Michael Bransfield resigned yesterday after rumors surfaced that he was sexually harassing adults. Ironically, this went down at almost the same time that Pope Francis met with a four-member US delegation in Vatican City. The Pope gave orders to a Baltimore bishop to conduct an investigation into allegations of sexual harassment on Bransfield, who has denied everything and only retired because it was required when he turned 75. There was a hotline set up for potential victims to call to report any crimes that Bransfield committed. Hopefully his victims will take advantage of the fact he is no longer employed so this scumbag can be put behind bars where he belongs!
