In case you’ve missed it, multiple woman have come forward claiming that Roy Moore, a Republican nominee for a U.S. Senate seat from Alabama, was sexually inappropriate toward the when they were in their teens. Fast forward to today, where Raleigh lawyer Catherine Lawson tweeted a picture of herself at 14 saying, “Can’t consent at 12. Not in Alabama. Not anywhere. #MeAt14.” As a result, hundreds of people have chimed in to share their pictures at 14 with tweets pertaining to reasons why consent at that age with an adult is hard to believe. He allegations surfaced only five days ago, so expect this story to continue developing.
