During a Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday morning, UNC Chancellor Carol Folt announced a new $2 million initiative that will aid students and families who have been affected by Hurricane Florence. One million dollars will come from the university itself, while the other half will come from fundraising, a fund to which you can donate here. Students who need assistance are encouraged to send an email to [email protected] We may not agree with everything the Board of Trustees does, and we’re certainly not all Tar Heels, but we support ya, UNC. Bravo, Heels, bravo.
